![]() These are the weekday fleet- day doctors, weekend docs and their coverage. i have seen how one person can have, in 1 weekend at least 8 different doctors. I have previous professional experience here and have seen a person in 4 point restraints for a week while being denied comfort medications. I had to go to a different doctor the next day and I'm better with antibiotics.Ĭhoose another hospital and preferably a non Ascension. Mind you I had a hospital bracelet on and in bad shape being sick enough to be at the ER and he's having me walk around on the outside in the pouring rain. Yet here I see the guard and people leaving that exit. I was soaking wet straight through my o my underwear. Then I look over to see hospital employees leaving and someone pushing a patient to a waiting car. So now it was a good 15 minutes walking around the outside of the hospital up to 35th to the non covered lot. I told him I parked out there and it was raining. The guard wouldn't let me exit and had me go all the back to the opposite end saying something about it being after 10PM. I had made it back through the maze of the building to the north entrance. ![]() it was then I saw all that meds were OTC and no antibiotics. Finally I got the text and 20 minutes to bring my paperwork. Hardly any phlegm but my mouth was all swollen where I was having trouble swallowing and an intense headache and blurry vision. A PA comes in asks my symptoms and wasn't really listening but concluded I had a sinus infection and some OTC nose spray and antihistamines would do the trick. A half an hour or so later I get a call back and went into an exam room alone. Put a bracelet on me and back out to the circus. 45 minutes pass when I get called back where they weigh me and ask briefly my symptoms. They asked my name and insurance and grunted that I'd get a text to further check in. I walked up to the plexiglass counter and said I needed to see a doctor. The ER is packed full of people, screaming, mumbling with occasional outbursts and people camped out on the floor and every table with food, toys and bags. It was raining but the only place o could find was the building at the north entrance. So unless you happen to come from the other street entrance and noy 35th street, plan on a long walk. First there's so much construction with closed off roads to parking and entrances blocked that even though the sign says Emergency Room it's a 20 minute walk through the massive building just to get to the actual ER. Long story short, 10 out of 10 do not recommend. The whole time asking the universe who made this a requirement hoping the recent stories of UFO sightings were true so they could come get me off of this planet. It took 20 min for me since she kept having to pull and smooth out my skin to get rid of any folds or creases. That's only if you get good images the first go round. I've never envied small chested women as much as I did in that moment. She told me the machines they have now are so much better than the old ones since they don't smash your boobies as much. I was escorted by a technician who told me everything that was about to happen which I appreciated. Not my color but I had other things to do that day so I decided I could call and complain about this later. It was an odd shade of pink, like between pepto bismol and pastel peach. ![]() I put my things in a locker and picked out the dress I wanted to wear. I was taken to a dressing room and was fortunate enough to have wardrobe waiting for me. Fast forward to when I got called to go back. They were having amazing conversation and well, I just didn't have anything to add to it so it was as though I wasn't even standing there. I checked in and was ignored by the front office staff. This being my first time made me feel the need to review so all other women wondering how this process will go can read about my experience. There is a time that comes in every woman's life where regular mammogram screenings start happening.
